STRUCTURE
Design and verification using FEM finite element analysis. One-piece or modular frame made of heavy steel plate subjected to stress-relief treatment.
MOTOR
The main motor features variable speed with a frequency inverter as standard on all models.
DRIVE SYSTEM
Single or double gear reduction according to the performance required from the press. High-speed shaft with helical teeth machined directly on the shaft itself. Oil-bath reduction unit. Eccentric shaft made of quenched and tempered alloy steel, with the following options:
- Fixed-stroke eccentric;
- Variable-stroke eccentric, semi-automatic or automatic;
- Link-drive slowdown;
- Servo drive.
RAM
Made of welded, normalised steel, with motorised die-height adjustment via self-braking motor and mechanical display with 0.01 mm centesimal resolution. 8 bronze gibs arranged at 90°, ensuring optimal alignment at every point of the stroke. Adjustable low-pressure pneumatic cylinders balance the weight of the ram and the clearances of the reciprocating parts.
HYDRAULIC OVERLOAD PROTECTION
All models are equipped with hydraulic overload protection.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Fitted with a gear pump providing a continuous oil jet and a progressive distributor. System monitoring with lubricant-level alarm and pressure alarm.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
PLC-based automation and control of press parameters with alarm display on a touch-screen panel. Standard monitored parameters:
- Press speed adjustment and display;
- Presettable partial piece counter and machine cycle totaliser;
- Motorised, automatic and programmable ram adjustment with automatic brake and position display on the operator panel;
- Manual and automatic stroke adjustment;
- Die controls;
- Alarm display;
- Hydraulic overload protection.
